Definition:
Tossing causality and relativity aside, the superluminal Tachy-on leaves the photon in the dust. Einstein told us that nothing can exceed the speed of light, but the Tachy-on tells us it would take infinite energy to slow it down to the speed of light. Its rest mass is imaginary and it accelerates as it loses energy.
